In this position, you will join the UX Research & Design function who are dedicated to growing and managing a diverse range of capabilities and skills to support the wider process of strategy, ideation, validation, discovery, and product development. This encompasses tasks related to conducting research, analysis, and user experience (UX) design and experimentation to inform decision-making and enhance product development efforts.

Your Role

As a Senior UX Analyst you will be essential in leading the generation of insights, ideas, and solutions through advanced digital analytics and user research. You will be involved in designing frameworks, managing projects, and collaborating closely with the Product Owners to identify strategic opportunities and inform high-level decision-making. You will act as a mentor and ensure the quality and impact of the team’s analytical efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a variety of complex digital analytics projects aimed at generating insights, solving problems, and supporting strategic decision-making.
  • Design and implement repeatable processes and frameworks for conducting digital analytics and research to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to identify and explore new ideas, validate their feasibility, and refine them for further development.
  • Analyse data from diverse sources, including Google Analytics, FullStory, and BigQuery, to provide actionable insights that drive user-centered design and product improvements.
  • Support UX research activities by collecting and analysing user data, conducting surveys, and performing user research to inform design decisions.
  • Create clear and impactful data visualisations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Engage in business case analysis to support the validation and prioritisation of projects.
  • Maintain a robust understanding of digital analytics tools, methodologies, and industry best practices.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Allocate resources effectively to support digital analytics activities, optimising team productivity and output.
  • Collaborate with UX designers to ensure data-driven insights are integrated into design processes and user experience improvements.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure analytics requirements are accurately implemented and to optimise data collection.

Requirements

  • Strong critical thinking, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics and FullStory.
  • Extensive experience with data visualization tools such as Looker Studio.
  • Ability to work with raw data sources such as BigQuery.
  • Familiarity with research and surveying tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Leadership abilities and experience mentoring team members.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
