About the role:
As a Product Manager for Camunda 8 self-managed service, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for how customers install, configure, and operate Camunda 8 in their own environments. This is a key role in the organization, having a direct impact on our customers’ experience and the company’s strategy. This includes Kubernetes/Helm deployments, Container services, bare-metal, air-gapped environments, on-premises requirements, and enterprise-grade configuration scenarios. You will work across engineering, product marketing, customer success, and documentation to reduce deployment friction and ensure that Camunda’s self-managed product line is enterprise-ready, easy to adopt, and scalable.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Define market-driven vision, strategy, and product requirements focused on improving the Camunda product portfolio.
- Manage community, customer, partner, and internal feedback with an emphasis on successfully driving innovation to improve our customers experience with Camunda’s self-managed service.
- Fully evaluate and prioritize incoming feature requests
- Keep the self-managed team equipped to work on the appropriate epics.

Continuous assessment of Camunda demand, market differentiation and the competitive landscape as well as close collaboration with our Pre-Sales Engineers, Solution Architects, and other Field teams.
What You Bring:
- Experience working with platform products used by IT departments (e.g., developers, automation engineers, ops teams).
- 3+ years product management experience in Enterprise software (e.g. knowledge about enterprise buying centers, subscription-based pricing model, enterprise software buying journey and sales cycles).
- Experience of OKRs, customer research techniques, product design, Go-To-Market planning, backlog management, and working in Agile teams.
- Technical knowledge of configuring, deploying, managing the life cycle of platform products.
- Strong communication skills – internally collaborating with others and externally presenting to customers.

- Experience working with platform products available both as SaaS and on-premises.
