If the Motoscaphe’s design looks familiar to you, it’s because it iterates on the design of the Nautoscaph II, a watch that draws on Alsta’s legacy as a producer of purpose-built tool watches but adds its own twists. The Nautoscaph II case is thinner fake Omega Seamaster than the original, even reminding me of the classic Seiko 62MAS profile. And it doesn’t get replica Audemars Piguet much toolier than that.
