JOB DESCRIPTION

As a UX Researcher and Writer, you are responsible for researching, strategizing, and writing content. You have to think like users and create a strategy that works in concert with the user interface to guide users through an intuitive and easy-to-use experience.

As a UX Researcher and Writer, you’ll  focus on the copy throughout a website or product to improve the user experience. You will be responsible for helping the team define and drive the future of our products. You will reveal what our users need from our products by conducting research, working with cross-functional teams, and performing usability studies.

You are also responsible for creating the copy on everything from buttons to pages to error messages. You must deliver the product’s message from the inside out and make sure that message is consistent, easy to understand, and in line with the goals of the product. You’ll work within the Product and Development Team

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct primary, secondary user research and evaluate quantitative and qualitative research.
Plan and implement user research strategies and methodologies and perform usability studies with consumers.
Use a diverse set of UX research tools.
Provide product copy and functionality notes for wireframes with UX designers
Review completed copy and contextual information in mockups with UI designers
Partner with UX designers and researchers to collect user feedback and conduct tests to optimize product content.
Ability to develop and create tech copies.
Focus on written product content and organize content guidelines into a clear and understandable format
Analyze existing content, focusing on reuse opportunities and value for the audience
Create and maintain a comprehensive library of reference guidelines, standards, and workflows

REQUIREMENTS

Must possess the mind of a UI/UX Designer and the ability to deliver high-quality content for product user interfaces with attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to present projects and status reports to the Product and Development team.
Ability to perform all research-related tasks including research, planning, evaluating, and iteration
