Driftrock software platform helps automotive brands navigate this new era, driving more vehicle sales with smarter, data-driven marketing.

We are looking for someone with Automotive Marketing experience to join our commercial team to lead the sales expansion of our key European Partnerships. You will play a pivotal role in driving our European expansion by managing key relationships with automotive OEMs, closing and winning licenses for Driftrock software and services.

We are a growing team of 28, with a commercial team of 6. You’ll have a huge impact on Driftrock’s culture, product, how we work, and help steer the direction of the Commercial team.

We’re a remote-first company, but we meet regularly in person and can provide flexible workspaces to give you the freedom to choose how and where you would like to work each day. We work with some of the world’s biggest brands such as BMW, BYD and Mercedes-Benz, as well as some of the world’s leading platforms, such as Amazon, Meta, Auto Trader and Google.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing Sales Process: Manage the sales process through the funnel, from generating opportunities, managing the pitching process, through to closing and onboarding.
  • Strategic Relationship Building: Develop and nurture long-term, strategic relationships with senior stakeholders at target European automotive OEMs.
  • New Business Development: Identify and qualify new business opportunities, creating and managing a robust sales pipeline to drive revenue growth.
  • Solution Pitching & Proposals: Conduct product fit analysis to understand prospective client needs, deliver compelling product pitches, and create tailored commercial proposals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Expertly manage relationships with key decision-makers, navigating complex organisational structures to secure new business.
  • Product Insights: Work with our Product and Engineering teams to feed back market insights and client needs, helping to shape our product roadmap.

Requirements

  • Proven Sales & Business Development Experience: 5+ years of experience managing senior relationships in a business development or sales capacity, with demonstrable track record of growing key accounts and account value.
  • Industry Experience: Automotive industry experience is highly desirable. Experience in digital media for a media agency, in-house marketing team, or ad tech vendor is beneficial.
  • Communication & Presentation Skills: Superb communication and exceptional presentation skills to a C-Suite level.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast‐paced and constantly evolving startup environment.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel across Europe to meet with clients frequently.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is required. Additional European languages are highly preferred.
