Job Description
Our client is looking to seeking to hire a diligent and analytical Accounting Intern to join our Accounting & Advisory team. The successful candidate will gain structured, hands-on experience by supporting client engagements and participating in the preparation of financial reports, audited accounts, and tax compliance documentation for multiple client organizations.
This role offers valuable exposure to practical accounting within a client-service and consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of General Ledger accounts for client entities
- Preparing Trial Balances from bank statements and source financial records
- Assisting in the preparation of:
o Income Statements
o Statements of Financial Position
o Complete Financial Statements - Supporting the preparation of Audited Accounts and audit working papers
- Assisting with Tax Computations for corporate and individual clients
- Supporting the filing of statutory tax returns and regulatory submissions
- Preforming bank reconciliations and financial data analysis
- Maintaining accurate client documentation and ensuring proper record management
- Supporting senior consultants in client engagements and advisory assignments
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Be currently pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- First Class, Second Class Upper Division (2:1) or on track to receive these. Candidates with 2:2 or on track to receive 2:2 may apply provided they have strong technical competence.

- Exhibit professionalism, integrity, and a willingness to learn
