Equity Research Analyst

Job Description

The Research Analyst will deliver comprehensive analysis and insights to guide the firm’s trading and investment strategies. This position demands extensive knowledge of financial markets and the ability to produce high-quality research reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a thorough analysis of financial markets, including equities, bonds, derivatives, and other securities.
• Perform comprehensive industry research by staying up-to-date with market conditions, sector developments, and macroeconomic factors affecting industry outlook.
• Build and maintain complex financial models to project company performance, including revenue growth, earnings, and cash flow forecasts.
• Present findings and investment recommendations to internal and external stakeholders, including institutional investors and portfolio managers.
• Participate in the company’s roadshows, conference calls, and telemarketing.
• Prepare and publish detailed equity research reports with actionable investment recommendations (buy, hold, sell) based on thorough company analysis and valuation.

Requirement/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum of three years’ work experience in Economic and Financial Research within the Capital Market.
• Demonstrable interest in local and international finance, economics, and politics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
