Lagos Smokey Jollof is a vibrant jollof-cooking restaurant renowned for its signature smokey twist, infusing the traditional Nigerian party jollof with a unique aroma. We are passionate about delivering an exceptional culinary experience, and we’re seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and customer-focused individual to join our team.

As a Social Media and Customer Relations Specialist, you will be responsible for curating engaging content, managing our social media presence, designing captivating posts, creating video content using CapCut, and overseeing advertisement campaigns. Additionally, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining exceptional customer relations, handling inquiries, closing sales, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. This is a hybrid role, requiring both remote work and in-person engagement, including Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the brand’s vision and goals.
  • Create engaging content, design visually appealing posts, and manage content calendars across various platforms.
  • Execute video editing using CapCut for captivating and impactful visual content.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to optimize performance and engagement.

Advertisement Campaigns:

  • Plan and execute digital ad campaigns to increase brand visibility and customer engagement.
  • Optimize ads for various platforms to target specific audiences effectively.

Customer Relations:

  • Manage customer inquiries through various channels, providing timely and professional responses.
  • Close sales and cultivate relationships with customers through effective communication and rapport building.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and handle any issues or complaints effectively.

In-Person Engagement:

  • Work on-site on specified days assigned for customer interactions, special events, and support as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and video editing, specifically with CapCut, and ability to create stunning designs with Photoshop/Corel Draw.
  • Strong proficiency in managing various social media platforms and knowledge of analytics tools for performance tracking.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for customer engagement and relations.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with a track record in closing sales and fostering customer relationships.
  • Creative thinking, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to generate innovative content.
  • Flexibility in schedule to work both remotely and on-site, including Saturdays.
