The BI Developer is critical to driving data-driven decision-making by designing, developing, and managing business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to transform data into useful business insight that helps to drive tactical and strategic decision-making through relevant dashboards and reports.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Collaborate with the Commercial teams to understand business objectives and data needs
  • Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources to ensure data accuracy and availability
  • Optimise data models and query performance for scalability and efficiency
  • Monitor and troubleshoot BI tools and data pipelines to ensure consistent performance
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas of opportunity
  • Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and reports
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a BI Developer or in a similar role
  • Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA desirable)
  • Experience in the automotive or commercial/sales sector
  • Understanding of data governance and GDPR
