We are currently recruiting an experienced and motivated FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Analyst to join our finance team.

As an FP&A Analyst, you will play a critical role in financial planning, supporting the organization with budget preparation, forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic planning with a focus on overheads, including people costs. Your analytical skills will help us translate financial data into actionable insights, ultimately influencing our business direction and operational efficiency.

We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who is looking to take the role and develop it to make it their own.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and forecasts, taking full ownership of overheads and people costs.
  • Business partnering with senior stakeholders to drive and support operational efficiency and margin improvement, as well as providing impactful insights and commentary on performance.
  • Conduct variance reports to compare actual performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Support the development of financial models to support strategic initiatives, including looking at potential acquisitions.
  • Support improvements to our cashflow forecasting processes.
  • Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting projects as required.
  • Support the continuous improvement of financial planning processes.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Experience in forecasting and analyzing people’s costs (including incentive schemes).
  • Experience in a subscription or events-based business would be advantageous.
  • Experience in financial modeling.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (including proficiency with Power Query and Excel tables) and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and support multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive mindset with a passion for driving business insights and improvements.
