The Position

This role sits in the Recurring Professional Services team of Claritas Rx, working with existing customers as they expand their data partner network post-launch. The Business Analyst works in partnership with the Customer Success and Engineering teams to engage with data partners and onboard data feeds into the Claritas Rx platform and is responsible for capturing, analyzing, and documenting system requirements, assessing the impact of system and process changes, and communicating requirements to relevant stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

  • Works with drug manufacturers, their data partners, and the Claritas Rx Customer Success team, performs and leads the data specification document reviews with data partners, configures specifications within the Claritas tool, and works with Developers to enable automation of data processing.
  • Documents business requirements and operating procedures, and supports issue resolution when incoming data feeds are not accurately processing in the Claritas Rx system.
  • Performs quality control procedures to ensure configurations and data quality meet acceptance criteria
  • Develops and maintains an operating playbook that details best practices for data configuration
  • Facilitates schema normalization of system databases and maintains data dictionaries and file inventories across customer applications.
  • Conducts change impact analysis to assess how updates may affect system performance
  • Writes clear, detailed procedures for internal training and can train other Business Analysts.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to assess the feasibility of, and develop requirements for, system enhancements and improved business processes.

Education/Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year university
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in an operations role at a biopharmaceutical manufacturer, reimbursement call center, specialty pharmacy, or data management company
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other analytic tool, specifically in data comparison, conditional formula, data summary, and conversion
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft (Word, PowerPoint) and JIRA ticketing workflows
  • Familiarity with Google Docs, workflow diagram tools, web-based software systems, and relational databases
  • Background and experience with the Business Analysis toolkit including an understanding of systems development lifecycles, architecture and frameworks, problem-solving and root cause analysis methods, use cases, data, and process modeling skills, and the ability to document business process models

Preferred:

  • Academic training in public health, business administration, and/or operations research
  • Case management experience in a reimbursement call center or specialty pharmacy
