Operations Analyst at Eligo Energy – United States (Hybrid)

Job Description

Description
About Eligo Energy, LLC

Eligo Energy is a leading retail electricity supplier that leverages technology and analytics to deliver customized energy solutions to residential and commercial customers across the United States. As an innovative and fast-growing company, Eligo operates at the intersection of energy and data, empowering consumers with transparency, savings, and choice in how they manage their electricity needs.

Position Overview

Eligo Energy is seeking a highly motivated Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to three years of professional experience—industry-specific experience is not required. We’re looking for someone who is eager to roll up their sleeves, learn quickly, and make a meaningful impact from day one.

The Operations Analyst will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing our operational efficiency. You’ll manage and optimize manual processes, resolve failed or rejected transactions, and provide essential support for tasks typically handled by a billing manager in the energy sector. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives on solving problems, improving systems, and growing within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, investigate, and resolve operational exceptions such as failed or rejected transactions across utility partners and internal systems.
  • Own and refine manual operational workflows to improve speed, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Assist with billing operations, including invoice generation, reconciliation, and error resolution.
  • Collaborate across departments (including Technology, Customer Service, and Finance) to streamline processes and enhance data accuracy.
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies and recommend data-driven solutions.
  • Document procedures and contribute to process standardization and scalability initiatives.
  • Support reporting and data validation activities for both internal and external stakeholders.

Who You Are

  • A recent college graduate or early-career professional (0-3 years of experience in any industry)
  • A critical thinker who is resourceful, detail-oriented, and not afraid to ask questions.
  • Eager to learn new systems, understand complex processes, and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable working independently while also being a collaborative team player.
  • Possess a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to grow within a company.
  • Excel in time management and can juggle multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (e.g., sorting, filtering, pivot tables)
  • Analytical mindset with a desire to dig into data and systems to find root causes.
  • Previous internship or work experience in operations, billing, data entry, or customer service ( a plus, but not required).
