OrderMyGear (OMG) seeks a Revenue Data Analyst to collaborate closely with our Client Success Management (CSM) team to uncover actionable data insights that empower our clients to maximize their product performance, pricing strategies, and overall success on our platform. By delivering impactful analytics and tailored recommendations, you’ll play a key role in helping the CSM team drive client growth, enhance retention, and strengthen their partnership with our platform.

Day in the Life

  • Data Extraction & Preparation: Extract and integrate data from multiple sources to create cohesive datasets for in-depth analysis.
  • Analytics & Experimentation: Analyze client data on product performance, pricing, and marketing effectiveness to identify key growth opportunities. Design A/B tests and other experimental frameworks to evaluate and refine strategies.
  • Visualization & Reporting: Develop consistent data visualizations and dashboards that communicate key insights to stakeholders. Maintain and optimize these visual assets to ensure they provide actionable insights.
  • Strategic Communication: Tailor data insights for technical and non-technical audiences within the CSM team and beyond, supporting decision-making processes with clear, concise recommendations.
  • Collaboration with CSMs: Partner closely with CSMs to align analytics efforts with client success goals. Serve as a trusted advisor, helping to interpret data and drive informed client strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science) or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong data analytics skills, with experience in SQL and familiarity with statistical methods (e.g., hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis).
  • Skilled in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, with a clear understanding of visualization best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights in an accessible way.
  • Proven understanding of e-commerce and online retail, with the ability to align data insights to strategic business objectives.
  • A team player with experience building rapport across cross-functional teams and supporting collective goals.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in a client-facing or client-support role, ideally within analytics.
  • Advanced understanding of marketing principles and pricing strategies.
  • Proficiency in a scripting language such as Python or R for data analysis.
