Resource Innovations is looking for a Data Analyst to join our expanding team in Madison, WI. We’re eager to find a talented and driven Data Analyst with a robust background in data management, analytics, and visualization to join our energetic group. In this role, you’ll engage in detailed analytical reporting while also supporting the software platforms that facilitate our energy efficiency programs.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop interactive dashboards and data visualizations in Tableau to present program data.
- Design and customize reports that meet business requirements using best practices and innovative approaches.
- Advocate for data visualization best practices, dashboard design, and analytics storytelling.
- Learn, operate, and integrate with company proprietary computer software.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity in all deliverables.
- Manage project timelines, tracking billable hours as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, engineering, statistics, math, economics, or a related field (GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred).
- 1+ years of experience in data analysis, data mining, and data visualization.
- Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Ability to present complex data in a clear, actionable, and visually engaging manner.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and follow-through.
- Interested in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.
Preferred skills, education, and experience
- Master’s degree in data science, data analytics, business analytics, or a related field (GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred).
- Experience with JavaScript, Python, Power Automate, RedShift, or other data tools.
- Knowledge of energy efficiency, environmental sciences, or sustainability.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
