Overview
We’re seeking a Data Analyst with exceptional experience in data mining, extraction, and modeling, as well as a keen business acumen. The successful candidate will work with a combination of financial and operational data. This role will be responsible for template and automation creation, status reporting, and database / Smartsheet configuration. This role will work to validate, organize, and analyze data to generate insights.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Creating templates and automation, status reporting, and configuration
- Building of scalable, flexible, and detailed data models
- Conducting ad-hoc analyses and presenting results in a clear and insightful manner
- Creating meaningful data visualizations and compelling data views
Familiarity working in large, enterprise environment with many cross functional teams - Communicating with stakeholders in a professional, succinct and helpful manner
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and an ability to work independently
- Ability to flex and be adaptable between different data requests and collaborating teams
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years direct experience in data analytics, data modeling, or data reporting
- Experience in the telecommunications/broadband industry is preferred
- Proficient in using Advanced Excel (including Power Pivot and VBA)
- Proficiency in SQL; familiarity with SQL database structures, access, and modification
- Proficient with SmartSheet and Tableau is desired
- Excellent query and scripting skills
- Familiarity working with multiple data sources including financial and operational data
- Ability to work with data visualization tools and techniques and to translate information into compelling data views is required
- Exceptional ability to communicate with stakeholders and provide insightful and meaningful data interpretations
Education/Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related degree is required
