We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join us until May 2027. In this role, you’ll turn complex housing data into clear, actionable insights that shape strategic decisions, improve services and support communities to thrive. You’ll bring hands-on experience using Power BI to build compelling dashboards and SQL to query, transform, and validate data, using your technical skills to make a real social impact within the Bradford community.

We are a social housing landlord and one of the largest housing providers in the region with over 22,000 social and affordable homes, mainly in the Bradford district. We employ a talented workforce of nearly 1,000 people.

Duties include:
- Work with the Business Intelligence Team in the provision of high-quality, real-time measures, management information and business intelligence systems.
- Work closely with the Systems Programmers in the provision of high-quality software systems.
- Provide exception reports to key stakeholders to enable continual data quality monitoring and improvement.
- Provide visualisations and reports for our core business end users.
- Be involved in a partnership project looking at using AI and Machine Learning tools to enhance our use of data and the services we offer to our customers.
Requirements
- Experience in creating engaging dashboards with drilldown, allowing business stakeholders to analyse and improve performance.
- Proven experience in using Power BI and in ETL job creation/management.
- Demonstrable experience of using query tools, SQL and software/scripting languages to deliver management information.
- Experience in delivering and interpreting management information and business intelligence information in a performance environment.
- The ability to disseminate complex information to a wide audience, including non-technical senior management.
- A flexible, pleasant disposition, approachable to all types of people and able to effectively communicate at all levels.
- Sector experience is desirable but not essential
- Hybrid working with 2 days per week in the office
- Right to work in the UK, visa sponsorship isn’t available.
- A basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be required for the successful candidate as part of the pre-employment process – Criminal Conviction Checks
