As Business Analyst, Commercial at our Global Office, you are part of a team that brings the legend of Belmond to life. You will support the business intelligence function to help inform decision making and drive company performance and efficiency. Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and maintain key dashboards for use across the business.
  • Conduct deep dive analysis to support key decision making across all areas of the business.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders from across the business to develop analytical tools which help increase customer satisfaction and increase Belmond market share.
  • Support the Head of Data, Business Intelligence and A.I. on all analysis related to commercial areas of Sales, Revenue Management, Distribution, Reservations and Brand & Marketing.
  • Examine existing reporting processes and re-engineer where appropriate to drive performance across the Global Sales teams and products.
  • Develop key dashboards to help support sales target attainment.
  • Work on and own assigned projects on commercial related initiatives including planning, research and implementation to deliver to successful conclusion.
  • Work with the VP Sales to develop and distribute key sales tools and dashboards.
  • Work with the VP Revenue Management to develop and distribute key revenue/booking pace dashboards at various levels of detail, including segment and room type.
  • Support the marketing team with a focus on B2C activities.
  • Become an expert on the Business Intelligence platform and Belmond data warehouse (BigQuery) in order to help automate many of the standard and key reports across the Commercial function.
  • Extract, manipulate and analyse data from the Belmond data warehouse to translate into insight and provide actionable recommendations for stakeholders at all levels, including the senior management team.
  • Work with the Director of Reservations to develop KPI Dashboards on performance metrics.

Wogan House is currently undergoing comprehensive renovations with brand-new fitted office space under the management of a leading co-working space and property management company.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field, or equivalent.
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting and developing dashboards.
  • Experience with data visualization using tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong skills in Excel.
  • Experience in coding, with knowledge of either R, Python, SQL and/or BigQuery.
  • Good organisational and project management skills demonstrating an ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong analytical skills and a methodological approach to analysing data and reporting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic commercial environment.
  • A demonstrable interest in the luxury hospitality or travel industry.
