What is the opportunity?

Chief of Staff Office, Business Risk Analyst

As Business Risk Analyst, you will be integral to the success of our marketing and distribution strategy. You will be responsible for supporting colleagues leading our Governance, Marketing Compliance and AML/KYC functions to ensure we enable our business to meet client expectations efficiently and in compliance with RBC BlueBay’s policies and various regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

What will you do?

  • Carry out oversight of regulatory compliance of RBC BlueBay’s marketing, sales and client communication materials
  • Carry out due diligence on clients, distributors and vendors.
  • Oversee maintenance of business policies
  • Support oversight and administration of business governance and committees Develop relationships with business stakeholders to demonstrate knowledge and commitment while providing prompt and efficient support
  • Work with the second line of defense, including Compliance and Financial Crime, as partners in managing relevant risks through your primary responsibilities

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Financial services experience
  • Relevant experience demonstrating ability to apply judgement in application of business policies to tasks
  • Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards
  • Strong team player with service orientation and ability to communicate and establish relationships with peers, senior management and a wide array of internal and external partners and colleagues
  • Able to operate independently and prioritize own workload to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment; pro-active and able to demonstrate initiative
  • Willingness to take on additional tasks outside key areas of responsibility at short notice.

Nice-to-have

  • Ability to work and experience in workflow and compliance tools
  • Compliance experience
