We are looking for an Intelligence Analyst, who will report directly to the Senior Intelligence Analyst or Deputy Intelligence Manager to help deliver services to Prevail’s clients. The input delivered by the Intelligence Analyst will include the full range of intelligence consultancy and product delivery. The role will require periodic deployments overseas for limited periods in order to collect information and improve situational awareness and understanding.

This role predominantly revolves around the provision of threat reporting and analysis in support of operations being conducted in a complex high-threat environment. It requires flexibility and adaptability in order to assist with understanding the operating environment and guiding the development of appropriate risk mitigation advice.

 

Responsibilities/deliverables: 

These are the key things that you will be responsible for within the role. There will be activities and tasks in addition to this list that are expected, but the majority of your time will be:

  • Liaising and collaborating with colleagues to produce high quality intelligence to support client collection priorities, against a defined intelligence collection plan.
  • Collate, evaluate and assess intelligence from a variety of different intelligence sources.
  • Producing formal reports or presentations, to include illustrative graphics, with attention to detail.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure, demonstrating motivation, initiative, and focus.
  • Use of data visualisation tools.

Requirements

You

  • Previous experience delivering intelligence reporting to customers.
  • Management/implementation of collection plans and expert knowledge of the intelligence cycle as well as intelligence gathering techniques.
  • Strong IT literacy including the MS Office Suite.
  • Strong grasp of current affairs and National Security.
  • Carrying out Open-Source Monitoring of fluid situations.
  • Conducting OSINT research including the use of associated software/tools.
  • Strong inter-personal skills in order to deal with colleagues and clients efficiently and effectively in a professional manner.
  • Good communication skills – the ability to report findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Good knowledge of intelligence analysis methods and techniques.
  • A willingness to learn and work with a range of communications and information technology applications, including some specialised data collection, analysis, and presentation tools.
  • Hold an understanding of information management, data security and integrity issues.
  • Flexible – the ability to quickly pivot to new priorities.
  • If you have previously worked for the military or government departments providing intelligence analysis and reporting, this would be advantageous but is not a requirement for the position.
  • Fluency in spoken and written Ukrainian or Russian language would be advantageous.

Training you should have completed:

  • Formal/professional intelligence analysis training.
  • A Security and Risk Management (SRM) qualification.
