Reporting to the Business Systems Manager, the IT Support Analyst (1st Line) role is your gateway to hands-on technical support. Tackle IT challenges, collaborate with the team, and play a key role in resolving issues across our software estate.

Responsibilities Include:
Technical Support
- Dive into problem analysis, implement fixes, and ensure swift service restoration.
- Contribute to an out-of-hours support rota for critical business processes.
- Ensure the seamless operation of the ticket management system with utmost efficiency and precision.
System Analysis and Enhancement
- Work collaboratively, resolving IT tickets and contributing to continuous improvement.
- Support new store provisioning and assist existing stores with software support.
Upgrade and Migration
- Contribute to improvements aligning with ITIL best practices.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing
- Chronicle technical procedures and resolutions for the internal knowledge base
Collaboration and Communication
- Keep the team informed with updates on IT ticket trends and statistics.
- Uphold Health, Safety & Environmental policies and encourage a culture of good HSE practice.
- Adhere to Company Shop Group (CSG) policies and procedures.
Requirements
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 / 2018 or similar ERP implementations.
- Knowledge and experience in the retail environment and processes.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a small IT department.
- Awareness of ITIL methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Analytical skills to contribute to the team strategy.
- Commitment to Company Shop Group values.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Desire for continuous professional development.
