We’re Scan.com, the digital health scale-up that gives patients and clinicians simpler, faster access to diagnostics. As the UK’s largest medical imaging platform, we cover everything from MRIs to mammograms, speeding up the time to treatment and improving healthcare outcomes.

We’re looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst at an exciting time – our B2B platform is expanding rapidly across insurance, medicolegal and consultant verticals, we’re now offering 10+ scan types, and working with 200+ UK imaging centres. We’ve raised a total of $60m in VC funding, reached profitability, and are geared up to grow over 300% in 2024.

WHAT YOU WILL BE GETTING INVOLVED IN
As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will be responsible for driving financial planning, analysis, and strategic support across our global business; a pivotal role in our company’s continuous growth and profitability.

You will focus on providing insightful financial decision-making guidance and performance measurement, supporting key business initiatives, and improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of financial processes.

As an early-stage business, you can expect your role to develop over time. Here are some of the types of things you could be getting involved in:

  •  Financial Modelling & Scenario Analysis: Develop models to support decision-making and assess performance.
  •  KPI Reporting: Track and analyse key metrics to provide actionable insights.
  •  Data Analysis: Identify trends, providing recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
  •  Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process.
  •  Financial Reporting: Deliver accurate financial reports to senior management.

THE TOP 5 THINGS WE WANT YOU TO ACHIEVE IN YOUR FIRST YEAR ARE

  • Development of financial modelling that aids decision-making and “lives” within the business
  • Introduce standardised reporting that delivers performance insights to the leadership team
  • Lead on the planning and forecasting process, ensuring an efficient process that delivers plans at the right level of detail.
  • Improve the utilization of our FP&A tool and make it a central component of the finance tech stack
  • Lead on the creation and reporting of KPIs, ensuring they are being used to drive business improvement.

WHAT YOU MIGHT BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • A professional accountancy qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACA, ACCA) is desirable
  • 3+ years experience in financial planning and analysis or related finance roles
  • Strong proficiency with financial software and tools, including Excel, ERP systems, and business intelligence platforms
  • Excellent analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial concepts and metrics
  • The ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
  • Proven experience in financial modeling and forecasting
  • Highly solution-oriented with a keen ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the business
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
