The role necessitates developing a comprehensive understanding of the NHS data requirements and developing and enacting the basis in which they can be met through
a) developing access to data within a sound governance framework and
b) their incorporation and utilisation within developed data pipelines. Developing relationships, both within and across our wider stakeholders, is central to this role in order to develop and formally agree dataflows with key partners and work collaboratively with the various disciplines within each portfolio of work being undertaken to support their implementation.

Minimum Requirement:

-Expertise in both theoretical and practical aspects of data analytics and machine learning, gained through specialized training or relevant experience.

– In-depth understanding of data management and its application within the NHS or other complex organizations.

– Proven experience in ETL processes and the development of data-sharing mechanisms.

– Skilled in stakeholder management and negotiation, with a focus on securing digital and data assets for counter-fraud initiatives.

– Commitment to continuous professional and personal development, demonstrated through recent and ongoing learning activities.

– Experience in Data Engineering, with a focus on designing efficient data pipelines that clean, transform, and integrate granular and aggregated data from various sources.

– Extensive theoretical and practical expertise in data analytics and machine learning, gained through specialized training or relevant experience.

– Comprehensive knowledge of data management and its application within the NHS or other complex organizations.

– Proven track record in ETL processes and the development of data-sharing frameworks.

– Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, particularly in securing digital and data assets for counter-fraud purposes.

– Active engagement in continuous professional and personal development.

– Experienced in Data Engineering, with a focus on creating efficient data pipelines that clean, transform, and present both granular and aggregated data from diverse sources.

– In-depth understanding of Data Protection laws and regulations, particularly those related to counter-fraud initiatives.

– Relevant experience in project and performance management within large, complex organizations.

– Skilled in producing and delivering management reports and presentations focused on performance-related issues, programs, and portfolios.

– Advanced knowledge of Analytics and Data Science.

– Exceptional analytical, numerical, and critical reasoning abilities.

– Practical experience with data structures, database awareness, and efficient data management practices.

– Proficient in influencing stakeholders and managing the acquisition of strategic data assets.

– Capable of translating strategic goals into actionable operational plans, with the ability to monitor their progress and outcomes.
