My Client are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support there client’s retail data function. This role is critical for enhancing data consistency, integrity, and usability across multiple systems and tools. You will work closely with a team of consultants and departments to understand and document data flows, map data dependencies, and identify discrepancies and duplications within our data ecosystem. An initial study has already been done to give you a head start.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a thorough mapping of data sources, flows, and databases across systems like EPR, BI, invoice matching, finance, web, more.
• Collaborate with department stakeholders to understand data generation, dependencies, and reporting needs.
• Identify and address sources of discrepancies across departmental reports, focusing on areas such as store sales data and overall sales metrics.
• Recommend improvements for data sharing and integration to enhance consistency and streamline reporting.
• Support the implementation of processes or tools that enable Real Time or automated data sharing to minimize manual dependencies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in data analysis, integration at a UK based retailer.
• Strong understanding of data governance, quality, and standardization.
• Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools.
