Job Description

Resource Innovations is seeking a Business Analyst to join our growing team in New Jersey. As a Business Analyst, you will think strategically and apply your skills in project management, data analysis, troubleshooting, and training to implement business processes and software solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain reports and dashboard, identify enhancements, track and promote usage across team
  • Analyze program data to evaluate market potential and come up with recommendations
  • Perform a variety of quality control checks to maintain and assure the accuracy and consistency of data in tracking systems
  • Perform database queries and program data analysis as requested
  • Gather and prioritize user requirements
  • Perform and/or manage user acceptance and regression testing
  • Write user manuals, train users, and provide technical support on reporting tools
  • Manage projects and client communication.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience with Excel functions, formulas, and pivot tables
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple deliverables, while remaining flexible
  • Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.

Preferred skills, education and experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience working as a business analyst or data analyst
  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical discipline, such as engineering, mathematics, statistics, finance, or computer programming
  • Experience with analytical tools such as R, Python, Tableau, Power Bl, Excel VBA, etc.
  • Experience with software development and product management
  • Experience with utility energy efficiency programs
