Job Description

The Operations Analyst will take a data-driven approach to gathering insights geared towards making informed decisions and process improvements critical to the success of the company’s production. This position entails working on multiple projects across departments to provide clear and actionable insight for business operations and strategy such as production/sales, inventory management, and fulfillment.

You will be expected to act as a strategist, identifying and proposing policies and practices informed by the insights you’ve gleaned from both quantitative and qualitative analysis. Tasks include managing incoming data, generating and analyzing daily and monthly reports, and compiling and assessing data for ad-hoc requests. Analysts will often work as part of a team, but are expected to exercise discretion and independent judgment within the role.

Operations Analysts must have an exceptional analytical background with the ability to clearly communicate and present information. This individual needs to have excellent time-management and organizational skills, a creative and problem-solving mindset, and be proactive in the role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage data collection, measurement, and analysis for all aspects of the operations (e.g. analyzing systems, monitoring TATs across core functions, etc)
  • Work with cross-functional teams to plan, analyze and manage production activities, inventory analysis and production levels
  • Generate daily, monthly, and annual reports on sales and production metrics
  • Fulfill ad-hoc research or analytics requests using proprietary data and external sources
  • Identify patterns and generate actionable insights to facilitate key operational strategic decisions
  • Develop and maintain KPIs to optimize workflow
  • Identify and establish efficiencies to streamline operations
  • Recommend improvements to maintain production integrity, consistency and quality

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university, preferably with an economics, business administration or similar focus
  • Advanced Excel skills (vlookup, index/match, if-statements, visualization tools) required
  • Tableau or similar experience required
  • Intermediate SQL experience required
  • 0-2 years of experience required in relevant field
  • 1-2 years of experience in retail, production/manufacturing preferred
  • Retool platform experience in API integrations and workflow creations preferred
  • Experience with Python and working knowledge of common data management libraries is preferred.
