Jupiter seeks to grow its team with the recruitment of a Sr. Analyst, Compliance (Operations & Planning).

Key Responsibilities

  • Support a growing operating fleet with emphasis on electricity regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of processes, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance obligations are sufficiently maintained and monitored.
  • Maintain evidence and documentation for applicable project compliance requirements through data collection, analysis, and document organization.
  • Support internal groups (O&M, Engineering, Asset Management, and Market Operations) in understanding compliance obligations and associated deliverables by developing and implementing tools and training.
  • Support internal groups to ensure timely provision of compliance deliverables (e.g., RFIs, reports, filings, and records).
  • Identify and implement efficiencies and improvements.
  • Actively participate in real time operational compliance monitoring activities.
  • Support research, planning, and preparation of new project compliance readiness efforts.
  • Conduct ad hoc independent research on industry trends and rules.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the energy industry.
  • Working knowledge in one or more ISO/RTOs (ERCOT, CAISO, WECC, MISO, PJM, IESO, NYISO, ISONE, SPP).
  • Working knowledge of electric power systems.
  • Working knowledge of NERC Reliability Standards preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced research and writing skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, up to 15% of the time.
  • High comfort level with fast-moving organizations, with the curiosity and enthusiasm to innovate and formulate new ideas and to bring the best out of co-workers.
