Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the performance of investments, ensuring they meet their objectives.
  • Analysing financial statements to measure the impact of market fluctuations on a firm’s financial position.
  • Determining the rate of return on investments or determining the amount of cash inflow or outflow over time.
  • Developing new investment strategies based on current trends in the financial markets.
  • Providing research support for investment teams by tracking industry trends and statistics.
  • Coordinating with other departments within a company to gather information about new investments.
  • Recommending changes to investment strategies based on an assessment of risk tolerance, time horizon, and other considerations.
  • Researching potential investments and making recommendations to clients based on their risk tolerance, time horizon, and other considerations.

What We’re Looking For Prospects with:

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, statistics or another closely related field
  • 3 – 5 years’ post NYSC experience.
  • Knowledge of Islamic/non-interest finance is an added advantage.
  • Proven Fund Management Experience.
  • Policy and regulatory knowledge – interpretation and application.
  • Ability to analyse large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports.
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential.
