Responsibilities
DonorSearch Ai introduced deep learning and machine learning into the nonprofit sector by building custom models with a robust interactive visualization tool to help organizations fundraise more efficiently.

As an Entry Level Data Analyst, you will support our best-in-class machine learning models by:

  • Preparing and aggregating large datasets for ML model builds and scoring
  • Investigating new data sources, perform statistical analysis, and document findings
  • Working with engineering and data vendors to improve the accuracy of our data sources
  • Providing quality assurance of imported data, working with internal staff and external customers if necessary
  • Analyzing trends and statistics of current models/datasets and presenting findings

This Job Will Entail but Is Not Limited To

  • Perform analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data using complex techniques
  • Combine various datasets into one relational database
  • Create presentations and data visualizations to effectively communicate results to internal staff and external customers
  • Apply and combine current and emerging techniques and tools in novel ways
  • Develop and combine complex data analysis techniques and methods for a specific application
  • Provide support to DonorSearch Ai clients with phases of data discovery, aggregation, delivery, onboarding, and adoption

Qualifications
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Broad knowledge in one or more related fields of the following areas: predictive modeling, statistics, math, data science, data analysis, and data visualization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline
  • Proven experience applying statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for diagnosis and prediction
  • Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data
  • Expert knowledge of data visualization software like Tableau
  • Expert knowledge of Python & SQL
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative, team-focused attitude with a strong desire to advance the product and learn new things
  • The ability to communicate technical ideas to a non-technical audience
  • Self-starter with experience turning ideas into actionable designs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Eligible to work within the United States
