Job Description

MAVAN is a team of growth experts and digital marketing professionals dedicated to solving complex growth problems for exciting and inspiring companies. We’re looking for aspiring content writers to join our team in a fractional role to help ideate, write, and edit engaging content across our fields of expertise.

The ideal candidate is someone with 1-2 years of experience working and writing in marketing, advertising, copywriting, social media, and/or content writing. You’re proficient in written English and able to adapt to different brand voices and styles of content.

Key Responsibilities

• Ideating, drafting, and editing both short and long-form content including:
  • Blog posts
  • Listicles
  • Whitepapers
  • Social media posts
  • Ad copy
• Crafting thought leadership content on behalf of our team of experts, covering topics like:
  • Growth marketing
  • Conversion Rate Optimization
  • Branding
  • Creative advertising
  • Data & analytics
  • Marketing trends
  • Digital marketing strategies,
  • Social media marketing
  • Lifecycle marketing.
• Ensuring all content aligns with MAVAN’s brand voice and core values

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in marketing, advertising, copywriting, social media, and/or content writing.
• Demonstrated ability to write in different brand voices and adapt tone across various content types.
• Experience in drafting and editing blog posts, listicles, and social media insights.
• A background in English, Journalism, Creative Writing, Marketing, or a related field is an asset but not mandatory.
• Must provide a link to a portfolio or personal website showcasing your work.

Compensation

• $15 to $25 per hour, depending on experience and expertise.
• Candidates may also submit a rate card.
