Job Description

Cam Dairy Foods Limited is a pastoralist-driven Nigerian dairy company. We’re building a new economy that’s centered around real dairy; one that reintroduces fresh milk to Nigerian households, nourishes our growing population and eradicates poverty for our pastoralist suppliers and their communities.

We’re establishing the supplier base and building the infrastructure to solve Nigeria’s raw milk supply problem while making dairy products to address widespread nutritional gaps. Our goal at scale is to create a massive income boost for 500,000 pastoralists and 10,000 youth entrepreneurs living in extreme poverty and to nourish millions of customers with essential nutrients. By 2050, our goal is to establish a dairy industry that turns Nigeria from a net importer to a net producer of milk, all anchored around pastoralist communities.

Prioritize needs:

  • Consider needs and objectives of stakeholders
  • Juggle scope and time to prioritize projects.

Manage the product backlog:

  • Create a list of backlog items
  • Prioritize items based on overall strategy
  • Map out dependencies.

Oversee development stages:

  • Contribute to the planning, execution and review of each sprint
  • Work with team to refine and improve the development process
  • Monitor and report on users’ reactions after launching
  • Create support and training documents for internal and external users.

Anticipate business needs:

  • Understand and anticipate business needs to manage the development process
  • Have deep knowledge of the market
  • Create customer journey maps
  • Suggest product enhancements to improve user experience.

Act as primary liaison:

  • Gain buy-in from stakeholders
  • Deliver clear instructions to the developers.

Evaluate product progress:

  • Is accountable for each stage of the development process and final process
  • Inspect and evaluate product process through each iteration
  • Determine whether the final project is acceptable.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree, OND, Diploma, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience managing the development of internal applications and tools, stakeholder management and e-commerce website management skills.
  • Customer service, client facing, and/or help desk experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant STEM field (e.g. Information Systems, Information Technology, Applied Networking, System Administration).
  • Completion of a relevant technical certification (e.g., Grow with Google, IT Support Certificate or other comparable certifications).
  • Work experience, including working with development team to ship applications, stakeholder management, e-commerce website management.
  • Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and make quick decisions with limited information.
  • Effective organizational, communication, leadership, and teamwork/collaboration skills, and passion for new technology and commitment to learning new skills.
  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
  • Good SQL skills
  • Understanding of how to interface with API.
