As a result of our expansion plans, and our continued success, we are seeking a dynamic Business Analyst to be based at our Head Office in Plymouth.
About the Role:
- Using SQL, excel and Power BI to analyse data and sales performance.
- Analysing sales performance.
- Analysing promotional activity and tracking profitability.
- Analysing large volumes of diverse data, providing actionable insights.
- Providing meaningful reports to the Head of Department.
- Analyse pricing to ensure profitability / price elasticity.
- Communicating insights and results at different levels to diverse audiences within the company.
- Conducting investigations into identified areas of concern.
- Adhoc analysis and data gathering.
- Presenting findings to stakeholders, department manager and head of department.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience with SQL – desirable.
- Experience working with data.
- Previous experience working in an analytical role.
- Understand data and how performance is measured.
- Proactive time management.
- A strong commercial awareness.
- Self-starter, motivated, and enthusiastic.
- You must be a team player.
- Demonstrable analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Problem solver.
- Experience with Python – desirable but not essential.
